Storm Boy is set in the late 1900's and is a harrowing tale of how a man know as Hideaway, an aboriginal named Fingerbone and Storm Boy share a relationship with each other and a pelican. One day storm boy finds three pelicans whom he names, Mr Proud, Mr Ponder and Mr Percival. Eventually Mr Proud and Ponder leave.
